Mariner Finance’s North East Philadelphia, PA branch members recently raised $1,000 for the American Cancer Society by racing in this year’s Broad Street Run.
Branch Manager Jerome Buchner and Assistant Manager Alejandro Navas braved rainy conditions to run through Philadelphia neighborhoods in a 10-mile race. The run, a 45-year tradition, is the largest and most popular 10-mile race in the country. Over 40,000 registrants raised money for charities of their choice. Rain made the course challenging this year, but both runners were happy to represent Mariner Finance, finish the race, and help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Mariner team members have an opportunity to connect with their communities through Mariner’s Community Engagement Program. The Program promotes well-being in the towns and cities where team members live and work.
