Through our social media pages we seek to provide you with thoughtful and informative posts and we welcome your participation in the conversation. To ensure a beneficial experience for all participants in the community, we have established the following guidelines:
The viewpoints and information contained in our social media pages are for general informational purposes and may not be applicable in all situations.
This is a moderated community and although we try to respond to comments and posts as soon as possible, we only monitor our social media pages during our regular business hours, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET. Therefore we cannot guarantee that we will respond to every post, nor do we have an express obligation to respond to every post. Additionally, we are sensitive to the participants in the community and we will take down anything we believe, in our discretion, to be contrary to these guidelines and the spirit of the social networking community.
We welcome your participation as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggesting improvements, and chiming in on the conversation. To ensure that this community remains a focused and productive forum, in our sole discretion the following types of content may be excluded:
- Personal Attacks. If you disagree with the content, we’d like to hear from you, but we ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others. Malicious content and or participation not in the spirit of civil conversation will be excluded.
- Offensive Language. Comments such as profane or provocative language will be excluded, as will hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language.
- Laws that govern use of trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, right of privacy and publicity, etc., will be followed.
- Comments focused on selling a product or service, or comments posted for a purpose of driving traffic to a particular website for personal, political, or monetary gain, will be excluded.
- Private or Confidential Information. Protect your privacy by never sharing personal information or account information on our social media pages. If you have immediate service needs, please contact Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org or 877-310-2373.
- Off Topic. We will exclude comments not related to the subject of the conversation. If you have an idea for a subject, would like to provide feedback, or would like follow-up, please contact us at email@example.com.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to exclude a comment for any reason, including reasons other than those mentioned above.

What is a personal loan?
Great question. It’s a loan that may help you deal with an unexpected expense, see a new part of the world, or simply help you achieve your personal goals. We have those.
†We offer personal loans from $1,000 to $25,000, with loans terms from 12 to 60 months. Minimum and maximum amounts dependent on an applicant’s state of residence and the underwriting of the loan. Loans between $1,500 and $15,000 may be funded online. Loans greater than $15,000 or less than $1,500 are funded through our branch network. Specific interest rates and fees are determined as permitted under applicable state law and depend upon loan amount, term, and the applicant’s ability to meet our credit criteria, including, but not limited to, credit history, income, debt payment obligations, and other factors such as availability of collateral. Not all rates and loan amounts are available in all states. Additional fees may apply to some loan offers; some state required and/or permitted fees may be treated as prepaid finance charges. Any such charges shall be in addition to the loan amount requested and/or approved and shall be fully disclosed to the applicant on his/her loan agreement. Not all applicants will qualify for the lowest rates or larger loan amounts, which may require a first lien on a motor vehicle not more than ten years old titled in the applicant’s name with valid insurance. Our loan by phone and online closing process requires a compatible mobile or computer device on which you can access your email and electronic documents. Not all loan types are eligible for loan by phone or online loan closing.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. As a result, under our customer identification program, we must ask for your name, street address, mailing address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
*The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. This “hard” credit inquiry may impact your credit score.
