Autopay Authorization for Loan Payments
Last Updated: March 2026
Please review this Autopay Authorization in detail, which requires scrolling to the bottom. Once you have reviewed the Authorization terms, please read the checkbox acknowledgment and click to consent to the noted terms.
As used in this authorization, the words, “I,” “MY,” and “ME” refer to the borrower agreeing to the terms of this authorization, and the word “YOU” refers to Mariner Finance, LLC (and its subsidiaries and affiliates,) (collectively “Mariner”).
I hereby authorize and direct Mariner to initiate periodic debit entries for my scheduled loan payments from the designated bank account provided to Mariner for recurring payments and available for review and/or updating (i) in my Customer Account Center online account; and (ii) by contacting my local branch. I agree that debit entries will be made (a) on each scheduled due date (as specified in my loan documents); or (b) upon the date, at the frequency, and in the amount selected by me when enrolling in Autopay, subject to nominal variance in the amount of the debit entry of up to $0.05 to ensure that the minimum payment due is satisfied in full. Any changes to my account or banking information submitted in writing or by contacting my local branch, must be received by Mariner at least three (3) business days prior to the payment due date. Changes may also be made to my account or banking information through my online Customer Account Center, provided the change is received by 11:30 PM Eastern Time on the day prior to the payment due date. I agree that if I do not make a payment when due and in the amount required, Mariner and/or the applicable lender will have the rights and remedies available under my Loan Agreement or as otherwise available at law or in equity. I understand I have the right to receive written notice if any payment will vary from the amount authorized herein. Unless I exercise this right by contacting Mariner at the contact listed below, I authorize Mariner to vary the amount of payments, without notice, so long as such payment is less than the amount I authorize in the loan documents, in any modified payment agreement, or during my Autopay enrollment. If the first scheduled payment at the time of enrollment is an extended due date payment, then the recurring drafted payment amount may differ from the contractually agreed upon amount due each month. If any scheduled debit amount is greater than the outstanding balance of the loan, the scheduled payment will be modified to prevent an overpayment.
Mariner may cancel my automatic payment enrollment if any automatic payment is returned unpaid by my financial institution. Mariner may also cancel the automatic payment service and/or my enrollment in Autopay for any reason and will notify me if such an action takes place. The automatic payment amount will only be reduced or canceled to avoid creating a credit balance on the account.
Further, I understand and agree that if my account at the depository financial institution provided does not have sufficient funds to make my loan payment, Mariner will not be responsible or liable for any penalties or charges assessed by any other financial institution as a result of such insufficiency. I acknowledge that, in the event Mariner’s additional attempts to collect my payment via EFT‐ACH are unsuccessful, I must make my loan payment by other means. I understand that a fee may be assessed in accordance with the terms of my loan agreement as a result of my account at the depository financial institution listed below having insufficient funds. I further authorize Mariner to seek payment of any returned payment fee (or late fee) due under the loan documents on or after the date it becomes due in the event that an electronic debit is rejected by my bank or other financial institution because I do not have an account with the bank or other financial institution, I do not have sufficient funds in my account, or I do not have sufficient credit with the bank or other financial institution, as applicable. In the event that a payment is returned unpaid, I authorize Mariner to seek that payment one more time (or any greater number of times permitted by applicable network rules).
Termination: I have the right to stop payment of preauthorized transfers from my account by notifying Mariner, in writing at the mailing address or email address noted below; any such notification must be received by Mariner at any time up to three (3) business days before the scheduled date of the transfer. I may also stop payment of preauthorized transfers by either of the following methods: (i) through my online Customer Account Center, provided the change is received by 11:30 PM Eastern Time on the day prior to the payment due date; or (ii) verbally by contacting my local branch during regular business hours on the business day prior to the scheduled payment due date. If the debit item is resubmitted, Mariner must continue to honor the stop payment order.
I may terminate this authorization at any time (i) through my online Customer Account Center account; (ii) by providing written notice to Mariner Finance, LLC, 8110 Corporate Drive, Nottingham, MD 21236, Attn: Servicing; (iii) by providing written notice to the following email address: recurringpymtoptout@marinerfinance.com; (iv) or by calling Mariner Finance, LLC at 877-310-2373.
This authorization will remain in effect until (i) the underlying obligation I owe is satisfied; (ii) you receive written notification from me of termination of this authorization and you have reasonable time to act upon it; or (iii) this Authorization is terminated by Mariner, whichever comes first.
By enabling Autopay, I acknowledge and agree to the terms of the Autopay authorization.
